His goal is to provide the best audio experience possible, and to have fun while doing it! He has extensive knowledge and experience in live audio, post audio production, recording, audio editing, mixing, and mastering. His experience extends past audio into lighting design as well. Julien is passionate about live theater, and always makes an effort to provide the best experience possible for everyone.

 

GABRIEAL GRIEGO (Projection Design) is also a playwright, producer, and director of both theatre and film. Recent projection designs for theatre include World Premiere production of And If I Don’t Behave Then What with director Beth F. Milles, BOTH, A Hard Day’s Silent Night with director Martha Demson, Martians with director Jeff Rack, and 26 Pebbles with director Jules Aaron. In LA she has worked with a myriad of theatre companies including Padua Playwrights, Moving Arts,The MET Theatre, The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, Greenway Court Theater, Open Fist Theatre Company, The Fountain Theatre, DOMA Theatre Company, Fierce Backbone, Triumvirate Pi Theatre Company, Juber Productions, 2Cents Theatre Group, The Broad Broadwater, and Senior Star Power Productions. Gabrieal's productions have earned a multitude of awards and nominations from Ovations, Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, NAACP, Broadway World, Garland, Better Lemons, Hollywood Fringe Festival ENCORE awards, Robby, SAGE, Eddon, as well as Best Of/Production of the Year recognitions from KCRW, Better Lemons, TVloution, Ticket Holder, Don Grigware, Stage Raw, Stage & Cinema & Huffington Post, and StageSceneLA. She would like to thank the producing team, production team & cast of Calvin Berger for their stellar work, and Richard Isreal for being such an exciting talent as well as a gem of a person. She would also like to send love to her family & friends for their invaluable support & love, and to her twin flame, Joseph 'Sloe' Slawinski, all the love for all the things.

 

JOHN McELVENEY (Properties Design) John was an Equity Stage Manager and Lighting Designer for many years before joining ABC Television as a Unit/Production Manager.  While there he worked many sit-coms, specials and awards shows. He has served as Production Manager for The Emmys and was Senior Production Manager for many Academy Awards presentations. He and the group called MacAndME designed properties for over fifty productions at the Colony Theatre in Burbank and other venues in the

 

 

Los Angeles area. At the Falcon/Garry Marshall Theatre he has designed over fourteen productions plus several at the Sierra Madre Playhouse and Main Street Theatre Co. in Rancho Cucamonga. Other theatres include A Noise Within in Pasadena and thirteen productions at The Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara.  Most recently at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills. He is past President of the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni and Associates.

 

JULIA DONLON (Production Stage Manager) was born and raised in Oxnard, California, and graduated from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Production Design with an emphasis in Stage Management. She spent the years following doing theatre onboard a cruise ship in New Zealand, Ventura County, and now around Los Angeles. Previous credits include Almost, Maine, In the Heights (Rubicon Theatre), Les Miserables, Mamma Mia! (Rubicon Academy of Drama), Crazy for You, Die Zauberflote, Medea, Well (Pepperdine University), and The Abode (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). Julia is currently the Production, Company, and Facilities Manager at Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California. She is passionate about theatre and human connection, planning to continue pursuing a theatrical career in New York in May. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her endlessly.

 

AUSTIN FRESH they/them (Assistant Stage Manager) is delighted to be working with the Calvin Berger team. When they aren’t running around as a production manager for Good Morning Bad News or backstage with Rogue Lab Artists you can catch them on stage as the cast lead of Sins O’ The Flesh, LA’s premiere Rocky Horror cast. They give their best to all the cast and crew but especially Ham Sandwich.
