Nick is in the FSU Class of 2028 as a Political Science major, and is super excited to direct this show!

Previous roles include Jeremy Heere in Be More Chill, Jack in Newsies, and Robin in Spamalot. 

Sydney Fontenot

as ANNABETH

Sydney is originally from ATX and just graduated from FIHS, where she has been involved in One Acts, the 2023-24 Mainstage, and many other shows. Former roles at The Island include: Cady (Mean Girls), Katherine (Newsies), Christine (Be More Chill). When not acting, she loves to write, watch long TV shows, and make playlists. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Zachary Schaeffer

as GROVER

Zachary is 16, heading into his junior year of highschool. He is incredibly excited to be putting on this show for everyone with his new/closest friends. This is a rather emotional show for him due to this being his last show with Brandon, one of his biggest role models today. I am extremely proud to have been casted as Grover, my largest role so far!

Brandon Anderson

as LUKE

Brandon is excited to be a part of The Lightning Thief again. He is a freshman at the University of Central Florida who is majoring in Forensic Science with the hope of double majoring in Musical Theatre. Brandon’s favorite Island shows have been Something Rotten, Puffs and Newsies. Lastly, Brandon would like to thank his family for supporting him through his endeavors.

Maria Routel-Ferguson

as CLARISSE

Maria is thrilled to be doing Lightning Thief for the second time! Some of her previous roles include Babette (Beauty and the Beast), Lucy (Charlie Brown), and Harry (Puffs). She is also an 11 time world champion martial artist, and a member of the Amerikick National Team. She would like to thank her parents and three dogs for their support.
