“Comes to Light” is the theme of our 2020 Woodhall Players theatre season. We began with an original adaptation of The Servant of Two Masters which revealed the masks that we wear as characters and as a community. Next, we auditioned our very first TWS musical The Old Man and The Old Moon (Book, Music and Lyrics by PigPen Theatre Co.), but a few short days later we were all separated by what would turn out to be a global pandemic.
The theme of coming to light has proven true yet again as we embarked to tell this tale of the man who fills the moon and how he faces change. This story gave us courage to face the changes in our world and with our show- we re-imagined our first musical into our first virtual production! Our cast and crew met on Zoom to rehearse, filmed scenes at home, created animation, and edited footage.
