Wakefield High

 Who's Who

Xitlalli Dawson (Velma), a junior, started ballet at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC. Her ballet training led her to participate in ABT’s Nutcracker at the Kennedy Center, as well as numerous performances at Kirov. Fluent in Spanish, she hosted a segment as a “Chiquireportera” (little reporter) on a Telemundo variety program and served as a spokesperson for Futuro2020. This is her third Wakefield show, previously performing in The Drowsy Chaperone (as Kitty) and Peter and the Starcatcher (as Molly). She is a member of the Washington Performing Arts’ Children of the Gospel Choir, ASL Honor Society, and Best Buddies. Passionate about creating a better society, she just returned from Costa Rica where she spent her Spring Break volunteering at a dog rescue organization. She is super excited about performing in Chicago and wants to thank her directors, fellow cast members, the tech team, and her family and friends for all their support... she really could not have “done it alone!”

Anna Disisto (Props Master) is excited to work on her last musical with Wakefield Theater. Anna has committed to working in the props department for her entire theater career and has immensely enjoyed her time working with her fellow technicians and cast members. Her previous shows include The Addams Family, In the Garden of Live Flowers, In The Heights, The Sting, The Drowsy Chaperone, Peter and the Starcatcher, and now Chicago. Anna would like to thank her friends and family, as well as her awesome props team, and the amazing directors that worked hard to support them.

Alex Duall (Light board operator and programmer) is a freshman new to the Wakefield theater program. Alex’s hobbies include playing the guitar and procrastinating on homework (sometimes at the same time). He would like to thank his family, friends, teachers, and dog for their support.

Maya Edwards (Master Carpenter/House Manager) is a senior at Wakefield who is thrilled to be working on yet another show. Previous productions at Wakefield include Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge, The Addams Family Musical, In the Garden of Live Flowers, In The Heights, The Pigman, The Sting, The Drowsy Chaperone, Runaways, and Peter and the Starcatcher.

Simeon Enchev (Fogarty/Ensemble) is incredibly excited to be performing in his fourth Wakefield show and second musical. Past performances include ensemble in The Drowsy Chaperone, Prentiss in Peter and The Starcatcher, and Iggy in the one-act competition show

Runaways. Outside of school, he attends classes at Signature Conservatory. Simeon is ecstatic about doing another show, and hopes you enjoy Chicago!

Jessica Fields (Reporter/Ensemble) is a Sophomore thrilled to be in yet another show here at Wakefield after performing in Peter and the Starcatcher (Ted). Other performances include The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble), Sing Down the Moon (Giant’s Wife), and Aesop's Oh So Slightly Updated Fables (Miss mouse). She was also in 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse (Narrator 2), 30 Reasons Not to Be in a Play, Legally Blonde Jr. and Hairspray Jr. at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. She would like to thank her family and friends for the support they have given her, and hopes you enjoy the show!
