Walla Walla Summer Theater

 WELCOME

A Message from the Executive Artistic Director

What you are about to experience is more than a performance — it is the culmination of passion, resilience, and artistic collaboration. While most summer productions spend nearly a year in planning and rehearsal, this cast and crew had just 12 days to learn their roles and only 4 days to integrate every technical element before stepping onto this stage. This kind of condensed process demands exceptional talent, unwavering commitment, and an incredible spirit of teamwork — all of which have been poured into this production for you, our community.

Walla Walla Summer Theater stands at a pivotal crossroads. With strong community support, we are poised to give this region an incredible gift — a thriving performing arts organization that fuels our local economy, inspires creativity, and influences the lives of young people for generations to come. But to realize this vision, we need your help.

We are brimming with talent and potential, but to fully blossom, we need a permanent, fully revitalized home: the Fort Walla Walla Amphitheater. With your investment, this historic venue can once again become a centerpiece of our community — a place where Broadway-quality productions are created and shared right here in Walla Walla, drawing audiences from near and far.

Imagine a vibrant annual theater and music festival that attracts tens of thousands of visitors and locals each year, offering a joyous and enriching experience to audiences of all ages. Picture a thriving cultural ecosystem that provides local performers, designers, musicians, and technicians new opportunities to make a living doing what they love. Envision students — from Walla Walla schools and beyond — gaining unparalleled experience, training, and mentorship that launches them into the next chapters of their artistic and professional lives.

This is the opportunity before us — and the moment to make it real.

We invite you to join us on this journey. Your support can help us build a new and permanent home at the Fort Walla Walla Amphitheater and will secure a legacy of artistic excellence and community impact for generations to come. Together, we can ensure that Walla Walla Summer Theater takes its rightful place as a distinguished cultural beacon in the Northwest.
