| Returning to the Elizabethan style of performance with no set, a few props, and a doubling of actors has been both a joy and a challenge. Maybe a joy because of the challenge! Add the record breaking heat to the outdoor venue and we could have had a tragedy instead of a comedy. But this talented cast and crew came through and here we are with Katharina and Petruchio’s story for your enjoyment. Our gratitude for this opportunity extends to Way Off Broadway Community Players, Smooth Village and to you, our audience and benefactors. Without you, Christopher Sly could not have been crowned King of Texas! Let’s follow the King’s advice and let the world slip. We shall ne’er be younger. |
