I would like to thank Naomi Simpson for giving me the opportunity to vocal direct the musical again this year! It’s always a pleasure to work with you, and I’m grateful that we have been able to work so closely these past two years. As always, thank you to Dawn Vergara and the rest of our production team for all that they do to bring these shows to life. I would like to give a special thanks to Abby Johnson, our Stage Manager, for dedicating so much of her time and support to Naomi and me during rehearsals. You never failed to go above and beyond what was asked of you, and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else as our Stage Manager this year! Thank you to Joanna Mackinson, our Pit Orchestra Director, for working with me to coordinate rehearsal schedules, ensuring that our students had the opportunity to rehearse together before tech week. Thank you to Tristan Decious, our Assistant Choreographer, for coming into rehearsals with a deep understanding of the music and dedicating yourself to creating magic through your choreography. And lastly, a special thank you to my Assistant Vocal Director, Allison Plumb, for providing so much support to the cast and me during this musical season. I am so grateful that you expressed interest in being Assistant Vocal Director. You are a natural leader, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you in your musical career!

I wouldn’t be able to put together this wonderful pit orchestra without the help of so many fantastic people! Thank you to the WCW Instrumental Music Boosters for all the support they give our students, especially Amanda Davis, Priscilla Marin, Danielle Cano, Angela Pate, and Ami Blackstone. Huge thank-you to the students’ families for providing meals during Saturday rehearsals, snacks and water for weekday rehearsals, and so much more. Eternal thanks to Eric Roberts for assisting with auditions, repairing instruments, and giving the students and me lots of moral support and advice throughout the rehearsal process. Thank you to the Vacaville High School Music Department for lending us instruments. Thanks to Naomi, Audrey, and Dawn for all their hard work with every show–I am so grateful to work with you every year!
