    Chrissy Burns is delighted to return to the director’s chair at YAT for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying! This marks her 15th production with Young Actors’ Theatre, following an iconic run of Mean Girls. Past YAT credits include Bring It On, Popstars, Nunsense, SpongeBob, 42nd Street, Puffs, Freaky Friday, Matilda, Disenchanted, Songs for a New World, Smile, Into the Woods and Snoopy! She has also directed and choreographed for numerous San Diego theaters and served as a Directing Associate at The Old Globe. A professional actor locally and beyond, Chrissy is also a private voice and audition coach with SingWithChrissy Vocal Studio and leads the multi–national-title-holding competition team, Team Talent Performing Arts. She is honored to create in YAT’s inclusive, encouraging environment and is passionate about mentoring the next generation.     Sarah Alida LeClair (Masters of Music, vocal performance SDSU and Shenandoah University) is a professional singer actress who has worked with San Diego Opera, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Ion Theatre, New Village Arts and Moxie Theatre. She was most recently seen on stage as Helen in NVA’s Craig Noel nominated “Fun Home” as well as in her own award winning plays “Audition Sides” and “Death and Murder and Poison and Scene”, Most Outstanding World Premiere and Best Ensemble at the San Diego International Fringe Festival. Sarah is the artistic director at Riot Productions and the co-founder with Chrissy Burns of the East County Star Vocal Competition. Sarah is a William Male Foundation Fellow, the recipient of the NIAF Pavarotti Award, a Heritage Silver Award Director, and a Helen and Tolly J. Lambert Award Winning Teacher. Sarah teaches private voice and audition coaching in her studio in Scripps Ranch.

    Stage Manager/Assistant Director

    Kate has always loved performing and working behind the scenes and is excited to stage manage her second production since 2021. Kate started performing at YAT in 2017, and has crewed and assisted on many show since. Some of her favorite past shows include Matilda, Puffs, Beauty and the Beast, 42nd Street, SpongeBob and Bring it On. In the past year, Kate was the Assistant Stage Manager for Mean Girls: High School Version and played William Barfée in The Spelling Bee. Kate’s looking forward to combining her love of acting and storytelling with her love of the backstage.
