  • Tricia Garten | Musical Director

Tricia Garten has enjoyed being a Parkway Music Teacher since 1999, and since then has directed over 20 Parkway plays. She lives with her husband and is proud to have two amazing children in college. When not teaching, she enjoys painting, gardening, and cooking. "I am so excited for this year’s production of Annie Jr.  The students have been energetic and dedicated through three months of rehearsals. They have gained confidence, formed new friendships, and hopefully developed a lasting love for the performing arts!"

  • Michelle O'Brien | Dialogue Coach

This is Michelle O'Brien's 20th year at Parkway School! During her tenure, she has taught third, fourth & fifth grades, and has been working alongside Mrs. Garten to produce the wonderful plays that have delighted the Parkway School community over the years. She is a devoted mother to her son, AJ, who is in 6th Grade at Central Middle School. Her favorite things about working with the students in productions are seeing them come out of their shell on stage, witnessing them take risks, and above all spending quality time with students outside of the typical classroom enviroment.

  • Michelle Marceau | Director

Michelle made her television debut at age nine in a Tropicana Orange Juice commercial and continued doing commercials throughout High School. While continuing her professional career, she received a BFA from Boston Conservatory in Drama & Dance. As a dancer she performed throughout the United States & Europe. On her return, she had the distinct honor of becoming Joanne Woodward’s private ballet teacher for 3 years after which, she began her career as a choreographer/ actor with the National Shakespeare Co. in NYC. She continued to perform and choreograph in commercials, as well as Off Broadway and Broadway, toured with the American Dance Machine, and began acting in Soap Operas.

Michelle, Director and Founder, created Greenwich Performing Arts Studio in 2000 as a way to “pay it forward”. Her desire to help talented Youth has resulted in students being represented by Top Bi-Coastal Agents and Managers appearing on Broadway, in TV & Films and many Commercials.
