Letter from the Assistant Director & Script Writer:
Welcome to Region 6 Player’s production of All Together Now! It’s so exciting to put on a production and perform in front of an audience again!
Because of COVID-19 regulations, we couldn’t present a “real” show. Luckily, MTI has provided the opportunity to schools and theaters all over the country to develop their own production. They provided us 15 wonderful songs to work with from all different Broadway shows. Instead of having this performance viewed as more of a “showcase”, we knew we had to take it to the next level! I had an AMAZING team of student writers helping me compose the script and we brought in alumni Tabitha and Shelby St. Germain to choreograph the dances! We wanted to make this special.
When I was asked to come back to Wamogo as assistant director, I said yes, without hesitation! This program meant so much to me when I was a student at Wamogo. From 5th grade to my senior year, this stage was my safe place and home away from home. When I graduated in 2017, I furthered my education for Musical Theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. Region 6 Players made an such impact in my life and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it. So as an alumnus, it’s remarkable to come back and be a part of something so special.
I know how much performing means to the cast, and I am grateful we could put on a show with these wonderful students. Seeing the excitement, passion, and drive in these cast members has reminded me how much I love the arts. I want to say a HUGE thank you to Rebecca, Alicia, and all the cast/crew! You all have truly made such an impact in my life.
To the seniors: Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your senior year. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
To the rest of the cast: I BETTER see you all next year!
Love always,
Lindsay
