    Julie Chavez Harrington - Director

Julie Chavez Harrington is classically trained and has performed roles in numerous works from Shakespeare to Shepard. She has a BA in Acting and Directing from Cal State Long Beach and a Masters in Education from George Mason University. She has appeared in productions throughout Los Angeles, in South America, Africa and Europe. She has traveled extensively but is thrilled to be building her resume in Prescott where theatre opportunities abound. Recently, Julie appeared as the forlorn Irish lass, Maureen in PCA’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane. In March, she acted in two staged readings for Prescott’s Tomorrow’s Theatre Tonight. In April, she directed the one-woman comedy Red Hot Patriot starring Gail Mangham at the Elk’s Opera House. Julie is honored to be part of The Fence and is humbled to be counted among those who have responded so completely to Prescott’s loss of the brave 19. She dedicates her efforts to her children, Ben and Georgia, of whom she is constantly amazed and grateful.
