Cayce Mell was born in Hollywood, California but relocated to Pittsburgh in the 90's and Monongahela is her first attempt at taking a story concept from script to screen and she wants every cast & crew member to know she was truly humbled and honored to work with every individual that was a part of this production.

Heidi Schlegel-Ward

1st Assistant Director

Heidi was a superstar as a student at Point Park and Monongahela's success as a production is largely due to Heidi's work ethic, commitment and integrity level which we remain humbled by to this day. it is no surprise that after Mong production, Heidi went to the west coast and won several Emmy awards for her talents in the industry! Pittsburgh is so fortunate that Heidi has returned to Point State Park University to help nurture the next generations of talented individuals with passion for this industry! 2nd State loves you so much Heidi Schlegel-Ward!

Jason Tracy Director of Photography

Jason was born and raised in Mount Pleasant PA and Monongahela was his first (and to date his last) film as DP / cinematographer which after seeing this film we are sure you will agree is as tragic as the film having taken 13 years to be released :)

Sarah McCabe

1st Assistant Camera

Sarah was attending Point State Park when she took on Monongahela and 2nd State fell in love and somehow one day on set turned into Sarah committing to AC for the entire production like many of the other students, working around a senior college schedule - and she brought such skills and creativity to the production 2nd state remains in awe and forever grateful to Sarah!

Charlie dedicated his time and veteran industry skills to the Production of Monongahela and spent long hours making sure sound is speeding on set!
