First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for your continued support of our program. When I accepted the position of Executive Director, I wanted to bring 87 Afterschool back in a strong way, and I think that together we have achieved that. This year hasn't been easy, but through it all we have stuck together as one community for the benefit of our children.
One thing that I was told was a HUGE component of the previous afterschool program was the Rising Stars & Shining Stars program. With this year being what it was, it would have been foolhardy of me to think we can put together a great show in such a short time and with so many obstacles. Somehow, I think we did just that. The kids and staff have worked tirelessly to make this happen, and I couldn't be prouder of them.
Congratulations to our participants, 87 Afterschool staff, Truthbase Theatricals, and our community for putting this show together. I hope you all enjoy it.
