Jim Gradillas
Jim has been teaching, writing and directing youth theatre for 36 years. He has been a professional actor, teacher, director and writer all over Arizona during this time. He was also a teaching artist for Arizona Commission on the Arts. He has directed and taught for Creative Stages, Acting Zone, Mesa Arts Center, Valley Youth Theatre, Theater Works, East Valley Children’s Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, West Valley Stages, Musical Theatre of Anthem. He is excited for this journey with Actors PLAYground theatre and wants to thank his amazing cast, Amber and Matt, Michelle and to the audience for supporting us in our original show!

Michelle Marie
Michelle has been working in theatre since 2006. She started as a script advisor then moved into stage managing and assistant directing. She has worked all over the valley as a light and sound operator. She enjoys the innovative ways the page comes to life on the stage. Now, she is a writer, mainly known for the dramas but also assists and co-writes with Jim Gradillas. She has also become a director in her own right. She is looking forward to continuing to make theatre a place of learning about oneself as well as a lifelong experience that would help anyone be better at being themselves. She would like to thank Jim Gradillas and her mom for their support and encouragement to do an art that she never really knew she had. She just wants to leave the world better than she found it and truly hopes that we can all have the same end game! She is thankful that she gets the opportunity to work with Actor’s PLAYGround Theatre and Amber Ryan.
