Sarah Barlow

Assistant Stage Manager

Sarah Barlow is a senior at Abingdon High School. This is her second year being an Assistant Stage Manager and she is thrilled to be a part of the musical again! She has done chorus all four years of high school and loves everything about music. She is incredibly proud of the Oklahoma! cast and thanks you for attending the show and hopes you enjoy it!

Abby Bartz

This is Abby’s first year being in the musical, and she is thrilled to be a part of the ensemble. As well as participating in the musical, Abby is the trumpet section leader for the marching band, a member of the concert band, on the Model UN team, and is looking forward to captaining the scholastic bowl team next year. She enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her friends and family. She wants her family to know that she loves them, and would like to thank them for always supporting her interest in music.

Brandy Baxter

Music Director

Brandy Buckles Baxter is excited to be back home in Washington County and to be teaching at Abingdon High School! She is a member of the VMEA Council for Music Education and has previously served as Virginia ACDA Communications Director and VMEA District VII Chair & Choral Representative. Choirs under Brandy’s direction have received Superior ratings at state assessments and competitions. Brandy’s musical credits include pianist and vocalist for a workshop production of Michael Gordon’s Lightning at our feet, vocal coach for Persephone at Brooklyn Academy of Music and music director/pianist for many high school and collegiate musicals. When she’s not in rehearsal, Brandy enjoys cheering for the Hokies and spending time with her husband Jeff and their pups Lucy and Zoey.
