 End Notes

A Note from the Director:

I want to thank each and every one of you for coming and supporting us and the Clintonville Lions Club.  Both of our organizations are nothing without the support and generousity of the community.  My name is Brandon Byng, and I am the Director of Nunsense, as well as, the President and Founder of Abrams Spotlight Productions, Inc.  We are a non-profit community theatre group located in Abrams, WI.  We have always striven to produce quality theatrical productions that are fun and affordable for the whole family.  You can learn more about our organization by visiting our website: AbramsTheatre.com.  We normally produce three shows a year, at our home, The Byng Community Theater.  Our entire organization is volunteer based, so everyone from Director to Actors, Crew and Front of House Staff are all volunteers who believe in what theatre brings to a community.  Bringing Nunsense to Clintonville was an easy decision to make.  When we were approached by Mary-Beth Kuester and Lowell Easly to perform this show as a fundraiser for our organizations, we immediatly said yes.  Then we realized what it meant to take our show on the road.  We had many difficult decisions to make about how to effectly move our entire set to Clintonville, and the man power it would take to bring you this show today.  However through the dedicated indivduals of our organization, and those of the Clintonville Lions Club, we have had great success.  I want to thank my Cast & Crew for their hard work and dedication during our run of Nunsense.  I love to get up on stage with my "sisters" and have fun together.  Thank you once again for joining us today and enjoy the show!

A Note from the President of Clintonville Lions Club:

Welcome to this afternoon’s performance of the hilarious Nunsense presented by Abrams Spotlight Productions, Inc.  The lovable characters and delightful entertainment of this show has made this musical a favorite across the country and around the world.  The Clintonville Lions are delighted to have been able to make the arrangements necessary to bring this production of Nunsense to Clintonville for the community to enjoy.  For Brandon Byng and his production company, this is the first time they have taken a show on-the-road.  We thank Brandon, the cast, and the production staff for that, and their commitment to expanding their reach of quality community theater.  This afternoon was also made possible by the six Clintonville community-minded businesses that agreed to be partner sponsors with us.  You will see their ads in this program.  Bravo to them!  Sit back and enjoy the show.  Be ready for an afternoon of “forget your troubles” theatre.  It is light, fun, and incredibly funny.
