Note from Directors:

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Academy of Int’l Ballet’s performance of “The Nutcracker”, performed by the students of the school and Guest Artists. The school’s approach to pedagogy fosters the coexistence of classical ballet, character, jazz and contemporary disciplines. We do believe in classical ballet training what helps to produce great dancers. One of the most satisfying aspects of our work at Academy of Int’l Ballet is watching the development of our talented and young dedicated dancers. From students beginning steps in pre-ballet classes to their strong, explosive and beautiful mastery on stage. Our program has been designed to effectively prepare students for a career in dance. It’s a thrill to witness discovery of their artistry and to see them carry these skills into the world. We look forward to sharing our work with you!

The Academy of International Ballet, AIB, provides dance education in a positive and encouraging, yet disciplined environment where dancers gain an appreciation of the art of dance. Students ranging from toddler thru adult, and beginner thru professional, receive the same professional, high level quality of instruction in classes that include: Pre-Ballet, Intermediate and Advanced Ballet, Jazz and Character Dance. AIB follows the Vaganova syllabus, as taught at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, which provides the student with a strong technical base in classical ballet that not only creates the ballet artist, but also establishes the foundation for success in other dance forms.

AIB produces exceptional quality performances in dance, and provides professional performance opportunities for their rising dancers, original choreographic productions, and community arts collaborations. Students of AIB have received top awards at numerous international competitions throughout the United States, have been accepted to acclaimed summer intensives around the country, have received college scholarships, as well as accepted traineeship offers with professional companies around the world. Two members have been invited to study full time at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. AIB and it’s owners Anastasia Babayeva and Denis Gronostayskiy, have been awarded Best Studio, Best Teacher and Best Choreographer Awards from Ballet Competitions.
