We are thrilled to present one of our favorite Christmas stories, White Christmas, as the Academy of St. Elizabeth's first Winter Musical. We are also incredibly excited to include members of the AOSE Faculty and Administrative Staff in this production! It has been a wonderful experience to work together with students and faculty throughout the rehearsal process and to see the love of the Arts shine throughout the Academy.
In addition to being a holiday classic, White Christmas is full of life lessons and ideas we hope to instill in our students during the Christmas season and beyond. For example, the song “Count Your Blessings” suggests that when we’re anxious, it’s essential to reflect on our lives by looking at ways in which we’re fortunate; Our main characters' desire to aid their General demonstrates how happiness and joy can be found in serving others; The plot also reminds us not to forget who helped us get where we are and to look for opportunities to repay the people who helped us along the way.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that White Christmas brings you as much joy as it has brought us!
May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmases be white.
Christin and Erin
