Adamsville High School

 End Notes

Notes from the director:

This semester has been interesting.  We are in our 16th year of show choir and musical theatre at AHS, and things are happening.

We have rebranded.  Instead of being the super wordy "Adamsville High School Show Choir and Musical Theatre", we are now "AHS OnStage".  "On stage" encompasses all of what we do as a cast, and seemed an appropriate name.  We strive not to be just singers, dancers, and actors, but well rounded performers, and most importantly, entertainers.

For the second time in the history of our group, a student has been given billing for choreography.  Often, students have input in the choreo, but Matt was given full reign over two full songs in this production.  That was actually a first.

This is the smallest cast we've had in years.  After losing well over half of the cast last year (they were graduating seniors), we knew that this year would be a rebuilding year.  We decided to try a smaller group.  They are all super talented in different ways, and have been a joy to teach and work with.

To close, I want to thank the families of our cast for supporting them in their choice to participate in this thing that they clearly love doing.  They are all so special, and I love each one of them.  I hope that you enjoy this show that they have worked so diligently on.
