Kathy Phipps
Artistic Director
Dr. Kathy Phipps, the founder of Agape Theater Company, has a BA, MA and a PhD in Theater. She studied Shakespeare in London and Irish theater at the University College Galway. Some of her favorite directing experiences for Agape include; Les Misérables (2017 Most Impressive Youth Theater Award), The Pirates of Penzance, The Tempest (2019 Most Impressive Youth Theater Award), Macbeth, West Side Story, and The Winter's Tale. She was humbled and honored to be nominated for the 2020 Excellence in Theater Education Award presented by the Tony Awards and Carnegie Mellon University. Kathy is very thankful for the encouragement of her wonderful husband and children who always support her work and the countless hours she devotes to Agape. Dr. Phipps will be retiring from Agape this year. She is grateful for the leadership of a gifted Board and looks forward to seeing how God continues to grow this powerful ministry.

Tina Schnarr
Assistant Artistic Director
Tina was first seen at Agape as our Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol. A Church Cantor and voice teacher, she also serves on the Agape Board on the Creative Team. Tina is the Youth Minister at St. Barnabas Church in Indianapolis and Agape is delighted to have her on this gifted artistic staff.
