as Lovely Lady, Montparnasse, Student
Sakina brings her lifelong passion for music to her role in Mackenzie Music’s production of Les Misérables. She is a member of the Mackenzie Singers and Chamber Choir. She aspires to be a successful academic. Sakina believes that her amazing teachers, close friends and family are who motivate her and make her the person she is today.

Angelina Almanza
as Convict, Factory Worker, Onlooker, Joly
Angelina is a student in grade 12 who enjoys music and all its aspects. She is a part of the Vocal Arts program offered at Alexander Mackenzie, and loves the dramatic aspects Les Misérables brings into her life. She would like to thank her grandmother for shaping her musical perspective, her mother for pushing her forward and her brother for inspiring her, always.

Amanda Backal
as Army Officer, Ensemble
Amanda has enjoyed choreographing several numbers for this production. She is a Theatre Arts Mackenzie student and appeared in Beauty and the Beast and Crazy for You. Amanda has acted in various film projects and has over ten years of dance experience. She is beyond grateful for the friends, family and teachers that made her participation in the musical possible.

Being a part of the musical has been thrilling and memorable for Sarina. During the development of the musical, she showed dedication and hard work. She's sung with the Jazz Choir and Mackenzie Singers. Sarina would like to thank her amazing teachers, family, friends and all of those involved in Les Misérables for making this show the rewarding experience that it was.

Gracie is in her final year of the Theatre Arts Mackenzie program. She is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful cast of Les Misérables and is beyond grateful to her teachers for giving her the opportunity to bring the role of Fantine to the stage! She would also like to thank her amazing family and friends for always supporting and encouraging her.
