Welcome to the theater! To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review the following guidelines:
1. Turn Off Devices: Kindly silence all cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices before the performance begins. The glow of a screen can be distracting to those around you.
2. No Flash Photography or Video Recording: To respect the performers and the integrity of the production, please refrain from using flash photography or recording videos during the performance. It is strictly prohibited. This includes recording with smartphones, cameras, or any other devices. You may discreetly snap a photo or two, but please do not be distracting to the cast or your fellow patrons.
3. No Talking During the Performance: While it's natural to want to discuss the play with your companions, please refrain from speaking during the performance. Whispering and conversation can disrupt the concentration of both actors and audience members.
4. Avoid Rustling: Be mindful of any noisy wrappers, bags, or programs. Rustling noises can be distracting to those nearby. If you need to unwrap candy or adjust your belongings, try to do so quietly or do it before the show begins.
5. Stay Seated: Once the performance has begun, please remain seated until intermission or the end of the play. If you must leave your seat for any reason, try to do so discreetly and during a scene change or applause.
6. Applaud Appropriately: Feel free to express your enjoyment of the play with applause at the end of scenes or the performance as a whole. However, be mindful of the tone of the play – some productions may call for a more subdued response.
7. Be Considerate of Others: Remember that you are sharing the theater space with fellow audience members who have also come to enjoy the performance. Show kindness and consideration to those around you.
8. Ask a Volunteer: All of our volunteers are wearing a volunteer lanyard. If you require assistance or have any questions during the performance, please don't hesitate to ask one of our volunteers. They are here to ensure that your theater experience is as enjoyable as possible.
Performance Notice
Please be advised that this production utilizes special effects including fog machines and flashing lights during select scenes. These effects are an integral part of the performance and are used to enhance the theatrical experience.
The fog machines may emit a harmless water-based vapor, but they may cause discomfort for those sensitive to atmospheric changes. Additionally, the flashing lights may pose a risk of triggering seizures or discomfort for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or other light-sensitive conditions.
We encourage all audience members to take appropriate precautions if they are sensitive to these effects. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the use of fog machines or flashing lights, please don't hesitate to speak with one of our ushers or theater staff before the performance.
