Emily is delighted to make her debut as Maria in The Sound of Music. She performed in all Braddock on Broadway musicals in middle school, her most recent being the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.You may have also seen her Front & Centre Stage Productions' Elf the Musical, Jr. and Kidspired's Teens Take on Broadway. Emily hopes your heart is truly blessed with the sound of music!

Delanie Blubaugh
as The Mother Abbess
Delanie is ecstatic to be playing Mother Abbess in her final production on Allegany's stage. Delanie is a senior and plans to major in political science in college. The Sound of Music is Delanie's fourth musical and eighth show as a member of Allegany's drama club, where she has also held the position of secretary for three years. She hopes you enjoy the show as we "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" together!

Kendal Johnson
as Sister Berthe
Kendal is a sophomore and this is her fifth show with AHS. She has been in eleven shows total. Some of her favorite roles include Yente from Fiddler on the Roof, Susan from Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery, and Mrs. Cratchit. Kendal has been in choir since sixth grade and wants to be a movie director. She is very excited to be Sister Berthe and hopes you enjoy the show!

Eliza Griffith
as Sister Margaretta
Eliza is a junior at Allegany and a member of Drama Club, Mock Trial, and a variety of sports. She also participated in the Maryland All-State Treble Choir this year. In the past, she has been in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Tarzan, and The Little Mermaid. This year, she hopes to become closer with others in the show and put on a great performance.

Liana Mendez
as Sister Sophia
Liana has been active in school choir since elementary school, and spent a year at the Performing & Visual Arts Middle School in Annapolis. She has also been a member of all-county choir; Anne Arundel 2015 and Allegany 2017. Liana participated in many summer productions. She is so glad to be in a such a kind community after transferring schools and would like to thank everyone who has helped her!
