Thank you for supporting our production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella!
It takes a village to put on a musical, and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way. We are so excited to share our show with you!
Before we get started, take a look behind you - you will see a live feed of the chorus room, where our pit musicians and conductor are playing! The arts teach us to collaborate, communicate, and think creatively, and although we wish we could have the musicians playing right in front of you, the acoustic of our space say otherwise. Using a live feed of the instrumental music allows us to get the best possible balance of sound, and to highlight the talents of both our singers and our musicians. Huge thanks to Michael Santangelo and our Sound Technicians for setting this up every year!
If you are inspired by what you see here, we encourage you to get involved in the arts - they are for everyone. In the words of Frank Vonnegut:
"Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."
Students - consider signing up for an arts class at Apex next year!
We offer courses in Theatre Arts (Performance), Technical Theatre (Behind the Scenes), Chorus, Band, Dance, and Visual Arts - and we are now offering a new course for 10th-12th graders interested in education, recreation management, or arts leadership - Express Yourself: Arts and Inclusion. Scan the code below to learn more about our programs.

Thank you again for supporting our students and allowing us to practice what we love - we are so grateful to everyone who made this show possible - including you, the audience, for supporting the arts in our schools. They are so, so important.
We hope you enjoy the show!
-Laura Levine, Theatre Arts Teacher and Director
