Giavanna Bovone
as Antonia
A junior, Giavanna is very excited and grateful to be a part of Mitty’s fall Shakespeare Festival! This will be Gia’s third show at Mitty. Previous roles that were Giavanna’s favorites included Jolene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (AMHS), Mayzie in Seussical (CMTSJ), and Serena in Legally Blonde (SA). Giavanna is also involved in the AMHS Concert Choir and is the vocalist for Mitty’s Jazz Band, Jazz in the AM. Gia is currently studying voice with Linda Middlebusher. Outside of school and performing arts, Giavanna loves to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys creating music and is learning piano.

Jenika Fernando
as Feste
A freshman, Jenika Fernando is ecstatic to be participating in her first performance with AMHS. Previous selected credits include Lindsey in Godspell, Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Becky in Tom Sawyer, Jasmine in Aladdin Junior, and Jovie in ELF (CMTSJ). Outside of school, Jenika studies piano, guitar, ukelele and voice at PNC Music Company. In her spare time, she enjoys whipping up a storm in the kitchen and playing with her dogs Mochi and Pico. Jenika is so glad to be portraying the spunky and musically inclined Feste.

Sophia Fijman
as Viola
A senior, Sophia is excited to perform in her first Shakespeare show! This is Sophia’s 9th show overall, having performed in four and worked on the backstage crew on four. Past roles at Mitty include Mrs. Alexander in Curious Incident, High Priestess/Annas understudy in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Family Ensemble in the award-winning production of Bright Star. Outside of theater, Sophia is a member of Archbishop Mitty's Jazz Choir, Kind of Blue, LIFE Team, and The Monarch newspaper. She is so glad that AMHS has worked to keep the Performing Arts department alive during distance learning and would like to thank her family and friends for their support!
