Amanda Folena
Director
Mrs. Folena is in her sixth year of teaching at Archbishop Mitty High School and loving every minute of it. She is a professional actor/director/choreographer and has toured internationally, directed various shows across the United States, and worked regionally at San Jose Repertory Theatre, Opera San Jose, Diablo Theatre Company, and Center REP. Prior to working at Mitty, Mrs. Folena was the Artistic Director at Broadway By the Bay, whose company received various accolades, including the Theatre Bay Area Award for Most Outstanding Production of a Musical for In the Heights. She currently lives in San Jose with her husband and theatrical comrade, Justin Karr, and their amazing children, Felicity and Hunter.
