Miss Charbonnet, a junior at Mount Carmel Academy, is thrilled to be returning to the Genesian stage after performing as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors! On stage since the age of eight, her favorite roles include Annie, Annie, the Musical at MCA, and Debbie Wilkinson, Billy Elliot, the Musical at Rivertown Theaters. Meredith would like to thank Mr. Blocker and Ms.Karen for this opportunity.

Leah Gilmore
as Sophie Sheridan
Miss Gilmore, an eighth-grade honors student at St. Mary’s Dominican High School, is making her debut on the Genesian stage tonight in her first- ever production. At Dominican, she is a member of the concert/marching band, jazz band, choir, junior classical league, and liturgical music ministry. Since fifth grade, Leah has been a part of the LMEA District Honor Band, and she has performed as the vocalist for the District Junior High Honor Jazz Band for the past two years. She serves as a cantor at St. Clement of Rome Church and has soloed the national anthem for their parish fairs. Leah has studied piano and enjoys singing, songwriting, and playing her clarinet.

Michael Villella
as Sam Carmichael
Mr. Villella is in his junior year at Archbishop Rummel. He has been performing on stage since he was in 4th grade at St. Angela. He has been in the Genesian Players since 8th grade. He has performed in Barnum, Richard II, My Fair Lady, She Loves Me, Back to The 80’s and most recently Little Shop Of Horrors. Additionally, he performed on stage in the JPAS production of My Fair Lady. He is thankful for this opportunity to play Sam in Mamma Mia, and would like to thank his entire family for always supporting him and encouraging him to follow his passion. He also wants to thank his fellow Genesians, Meredith for being the best person ever to run lines and rehearse with, and his voice coach Chase for helping him get ready for this show!And of course thank you to Miss Karen and Mr. Blocker for their guidance and support of his dreams.
