  • Amy Albritton Calhoun

    Director

    Amy Albritton Calhoun, an APA alumna, is thrilled to be back in her first year as Director of the Patriot Players!  Amy received a BFA in Theater with a concentration in Professional Acting, including two years of training in the Stanford Meisner Technique of Acting, from East Carolina University. Some of her favorite roles she’s played are Valera inCoriolanus, Eunice in A Streetcar Named Desire, and Hannah Jarvis in Arcadia. Amy is so grateful for the warm welcome she’s received from the APA family, and all the help and encouragement of the wonderful faculty. She would like to especially thank the lovely ladies of FOFA for being a huge support team, her wonderful cast for making her job as a director easy, and the incredibly talented fine arts teachers for lending their talents and immense help in putting on this production. Last but not least, Amy would like to thank her family and her husband Will for being a constant source of joy and support.

  • Lisa Duke

    Musical Director

    Lisa Duke loves teaching at Arendell Parrott Academy.   Attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduating from the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam, Lisa received a degree in Music Education.  She obtained a Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Music Education from East Carolina University.  As a performer, Lisa’s favorite roles include Maria (The Sound of Music), Cinderella (Cinderella), Daisy Mae (Li’l Abner), and Rosie (Bye, Bye Birdie).  Lisa feels tremendously fortunate to be a part of the APA family!   Special thanks go to the amazing, talented, and supportive women of the Fine Arts!  A proud mother of orchestra member, Cambria, and Patriot Player alumna, Madison, Lisa would like to thank her husband, children, and parents for their love and support!
