 STAFF BIOS 

Lisa Beth Vettoso (Director/Producer): Aspire Performing Arts Company, founded in 2011, represents the culmination of Lisa’s 20+ years of experience in the arts and fulfills her dream of working with children in her own theatre company. Previously, Lisa was Artistic Director of the BG Theatre Club for five seasons, directing, choreographing, and producing 15 shows. Lisa holds a B.A. in Communication and Theatre from Villanova University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Theatre from NYU. She is currently the Executive Director of Literature to Life, a non-profit arts in education organization. Lisa has also worked with such prestigious organizations as The Art School at Old Church, The New York Pops, American Repertory Ballet, the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable, and Carnegie Hall. Lisa would like to thank her amazing family for their constant support and generosity, and her husband, Jay, for his love, for always listening, and for loving Aspire as much as she does. This and every performance is dedicated to her father, John Vettoso, who was Aspire PAC's biggest fan.

 

Rich Lovallo (Music Director) is a graduate of Ramapo College with a B.A. in Theatre. He has worked professionally as a music director at the scholastic, college, community, and professional level for many years. He was music director for Aspire’s productions of All Shook UpBig Fish, Mamma Mia, Disney’s The Lion King JR., Newsies JR., Madagascar - A Musical Adventure JR., Children of Eden, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Rich directed/musically directed many shows for Rhino Theatre, and was part of the voice faculty for NJPAC Summer Youth Performance Workshop. He was also resident musical director for 14 years at the Worth-Tyrrell School of Performing Arts in Morristown, NJ. Aside from his theatrical endeavors, he is the Director of Music Ministries at Butler United Methodist Church in Butler, NJ. He is also a co-founder and current President of the Triad Arts Ensemble, and sings with the Triad Vocal Ensemble. With Triad he performs in an annual benefit concert for NJ AIDS related charities (www.canticlesforlife.org).  In whatever time is left, he is husband to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, father to four amazing children, Sophie, Anna, Marcus and Michael, and grandfather to Julian. Rich gives all glory and praise to God for the gift of music. 

 

Kacie Broadfield (Co-Choreographer) is super thrilled to be back at Aspire and working in theatre again after way too long of a break! Aspire PAC credits include: Matilda the Musical Jr (Asst. Choreographer) and The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble). Recent credits include: New York Renaissance Faire (Pub Crawl), Matilda the Musical (Acrobat- Rhino Theatre), and Take Me Away (Bobbie #3/Ensemble- Hunterdon Hills Playhouse). Many many thanks to Lisa for having her back at Aspire PAC for one of her favorite shows and to Rich, Cheryl and Val as well for such a fun rehearsal period! This is her third time working on The Drowsy Chaperone and she hopes you enjoy the show!
