Christine Biscoglio - Editor-In-Chief

A co-founder of the BV Players, Christine has, over the past 14 years, worn many hats, from singing and dancing to lead roles, set design, costumes, props, graphic design, advertising campaigns, and 16 Playbill covers.  She promoted the use of ads in the playbill to create revenue to offset production costs. An out-of-the-box thinker, she introduced genres for the BV Players to entertain the community. In 2014, with co-producer Ellyn Goldstein, she introduced a series of three radio theater shows.  At the same time, reserved seating and ushers were introduced and adopted thereafter for all Buena Vida shows.  She developed the BVP Studio concept and co-produced its first show – the comedy Exit Laughing.  Thanks to a dream cast and a great production team, the first BVP Studio show was a major success and the culmination of 14 years dedicated to the BV Players. This Playbill will be Christine’s last contribution to the BV Players, but her memories will last forever.  Heartfelt thanks and grateful appreciation to Amy Schwed, proofreader extraordinaire and right hand, to the advertising team, to Morty Litwack for the numerous graphic ads created, to Donna Evans, for her support and handholding, to Leslie Rosenblum for sharing and working beside her on sets and graphic designs, the BV Player Board, and most of all to her loving husband Phil for his patience and always standing beside her.
