Baldwinsville Theater Arts Program

    Director's Note

For so many people in our world, the shutdowns and delays that came as a result of the COVID-19 health crisis have been stunting. We've lost our outlet for creating, missed out on connections with those of our peers who share our passion and most importantly, fallen short in providing artistic content to our community. We've watched young people throughout our community grasping to find their place in a school building where they normally would run to the music room or the theater. They've had to learn new norms and find a new stride.

So with the help of administrators and a very dedicated production staff, our team has held tight to our commitment of creating by finding new and innovative ways to do so.

While our theater performances this year have been unique in their virtual creation, they have also been a challenge that the students have embraced.  We've traded the stage with lights blaring, music roaring and audiences lauding for a screen full of happy and energized faces and a video editor who is making magic from miles and miles away.

The Baldwinsville Theater Arts Program has fought for shows like the one you are about to see because we hold tight to our mission of providing students with safe and healthy outlets to be creative and providing our community with the high quality theatrical performances they have come to know and love.

Thank you for your continued support of the arts in our community and we can't wait to see you from the real stage at Baker High School as it becomes safe to do so...very soon!
