Damian Martin

Damian is thrilled to be teaching at Banzerini House! Originally from Ireland he began his career as a professional musician in London’s West End. For 14 years he was a member of the U.S. Army music program. He has mentored singers and musicians from elementary school through college and is committed to sharing his passion for the arts with as many people as he can find! Collaborations include Musical Director at the Dinner Theatre in Elizabethtown, KY. rehearsal pianist at the Governor’s School, VA, and for three years was Musical Director for the SHAPE Player’s Theatre in Belgium, where he won 2 ‘IMCOM’ awards for best original musical score for a play. As a composer’s assistant he has worked with Hollywood composer Mateo Messina and recently performed on several movie scores on the Hallmark channel. He studied in London at the London College of Music, and with Hummie Mann at the Seattle Film Institute.
