as Willy Wonka/Candy Man
MATTHEW NAMIK is an actor living in Los Angeles and is excited to be back with The Banzerini House again for the first time since 2019. He has formerly appeared on the B house stage in their productions of Rumors and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. His other theatre credits include Our Town, The Crucible, Jackie and Me, The Laramie Project and A Dolls House. When Matthew isn’t acting on stage, he also works backstage dabbling in scenic design, directing and even sound design. When in LA Matthew spends his time auditioning and can be seen in his most recent film credit “Here Comes Your Man” on Amazon TV. Between gigs in his scarce free time, he likes to spend time on the beach training in Acro Yoga. Matthew would like to thank his family and friends for their ongoing support, and the cast and crew of Willy Wonka Jr. for a wonderful and memorable process!

as Charlie Bucket
SHANE MACRIS is excited to be a part of this wonderful and timeless show. Shane has been acting and singing since he was young and has played a variety of roles including Kurt VonTrapp in The Sound of Music, the Herald in Cinderella, Oliver Warbucks in Annie and many others. Charlie Bucket, in print, on screen and on stage, has always been a favorite of Shane’s and he is energized by the opportunity to show all the goodness Charlie provides to children and the world. Shane is thankful to the vast array of singing, dancing, and acting guides he has met along his journey and looks forward to many more years of theater vibrancy and life. He would also like to thank his family for always supporting him. He hopes you enjoy the show.

Joe Schwab
as Grandpa Joe
JOE SCHWAB first appeared on stage as a young boy in the 50’s at the iconic Frank's Sennes Moulin Rouge (now Nickelodeon Studios). He was involved in All in the Family appearances, Sanford Arms, and other feature films and theatre in Hollywood. More recently, he's been a regular with the Dinner Detective. In addition Joe has appeared in Phoenix theatres & Indie films. This fall Joe will be featured nationally in HomeSmart TV commercials. Joe enjoys being connected to the Wonka magic and he’s excited to be in Banzerini's Arizona debut production.
