The American High School Theatre Festival has once again chosen Baton Rouge Magnet High's Theatre Program to perform as part of the 2020 Edinburgh Fringe Festival!  The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is held annually in Edinburgh, Scotland and is widely considered to be the world's largest and most prestigious theatre festival.

Each year over 3000 high school programs in North America are nominiated to compete for the privilege of performing at AHSTF as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  The high school programs are evaulated on a number of factors including artistic philosophy, community outreach, recent success of alumni in the performing arts and the quality of their productions.  We won!  We are one of 30 schools from Canada and the United States that were chosen to perform in the August 2020 festival.
