Notes from the Directors :

Selecting a musical that fulfilled all our criteria was no easy task. We wanted a crowd-pleaser to draw in a large audience, fun and dynamic characters, and a relevant lesson for our students. Chicago emerged as the perfect choice, challenging both performers and audiences alike. Its satirical commentary on the justice system and media obsession with celebrity status opens the door to thought-provoking discussions.

Chicago offers a sharp critique of the justice system, delving into themes of manipulation, fame, and the blurred lines between truth and fiction. Despite its 1920s setting, the musical's themes of celebrity culture and media manipulation resonate strongly in today's society.

We're immensely proud of our dedicated cast and crew. Their countless hours of hard work, tenacity, and creativity have brought this iconic story to life. We hope you'll be as impressed as we have been by the professionalism of these young artists. Get ready for them to “Razzle Dazzle” you as they sing, dance, and act one showstopping number after another in the classic musical, Chicago Teen Edition.
