Welcome to the Bison Theatre's fall production; Freaky Friday: The Musical! As I pondred options for shows for this school year, I wanted to select something in which the students could tell stories that center around empathy and understanding. At it's core, the story of Freaky Friday asks a simple but profound question: what would happen if we could truly see life through someone else’s eyes?
Our cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring this message to life with humor, energy, and heart. Adolecense is a time of discovery—of identity, relationships, and perspective—and this show captures all of that in a way that resonates not just with a younger generation, but with every generation.
As you watch, I invite you to laugh, reflect, and maybe even imagine what it would be like to trade places for a day. Would you change the way you act? Would you maybe appreciate others more?
