Much like The Hunchback of Notre Dame that we performed in the fall, the themes in Shrek the Musical also share profound messages about acceptance, friendship, and the importance of being true to oneself. At its core, this story teaches us that true beauty lies within and that our differences are what make us unique (of course, with a bit more humor and green paint). 

The journey to stage this musical has been filled with hard work, creativity, and collaboration. Our talented students have embraced their roles with enthusiasm, learning not just about acting and singing but also about teamwork, resilience, and the joy of storytelling. They have dedicated countless hours to rehearsals, navigating the complexities of their characters while also mastering technical elements like sound, lighting, stage management, and props making.

As you watch today's performance, I encourage you to reflect on the lessons embedded within this fairy tale. Just like Shrek and Fiona, we all have our own journeys filled with trials and triumphs. This production is not just about entertainment; it’s a celebration of community, diversity, and the bonds we create through shared experiences.
