Maxine Brown-Lockhart

as "Evelyn"

Maxine Brown-Lockhart is from the west side of Chicago. This is her 3rd performance with Bees Knees Production. The first was in 2022 in the lead role of Momma Rose in "SISTERS". The second was a supporting role of Momma Cora in "THE SHOOTER". She will portray the supporting role of Momma Evelyn in "SUNDER". She enjoys the camaraderie she has built working with her fellow cast members of the Bees Knees Production. We have become a "FAMILY".

Maxine has showcased her talents in church and other community productions. She has always had a love of acting and the arts, even as a child.

She has a passion for Turner Classic  Movies that feature the classic black & white movies. 

Maxine is 1 of 8 siblings and very large close knit family. She is the proud mother of 1 son and grandmother (GOLDIE) to a 5 year grandson and a 1 year old granddaughter. She refers to her family as her "HEARTBEATS".

Abrielle (Abby) Sherman

as "Kaydence"

Abrielle (Abby) Sherman is extremely excited to debut in her 6th professional stage play. Abby first starred in a Bees Knees Production of "Testify" as "Anna" in 2019. She has danced in several music videos for various gospel artists and choreographed for local rap artists. Abby is a 2024 high school graduate and attends college majoring in Psychology. In addition to acting, Abby loves makeup artistry and being creative. Her favorites include fashion, tennis, modeling, dancing and writing & producing songs. Abby serves as the coach of her dance team "Mystic Stormz" and has performed at the half time show for the Globetrotters. Abby would like to thank God for her blessings and her family for believing and encouraging her at all times. Abby would like to thank the Writer, Directer and Producer, Trish Mitchell for this amazing opportunity and not giving up on her. Lastly, Abby would like to thank the cast for making this a memorable and wonderful experience. 

Phillip White

as "Kobe"

Phillip White (Kobe) is a native of Kansas City Missouri where he resides with his wife Tiffany and their three daughters (one who is in this production *Seri White) He is pursuing a career in Screenwriting, and Film Directing. He has Written and Directed two short films, and has filmed a handful of commercials with just an iPhone! Phillip loves Football and cooking. This is Phillip's fourth acting role in live theater.
