FROM THE DIRECTOR
Thanks for coming and watching our wonderful Kiddos sing, act, dance and play Once Upon a Mattress. OAUM is a classic, old fashioned musical that is made to sit back, relax and enjoy. No athletically huge dance numbers, no grand special effects or spectacle, no one dies at the end. Just good, old fashioned fun AND maybe one lesson that we can all learn. Be who you are, your own unique self. March to your drumbeat and you may just change the world for the better.
Special thanks to Michael Bokros for his leadership and countless hours of dedicated work on the set, Maggie Younkin for creating the wonderful programs, Leah Fitzgerald for her super stage management, Heather Henley for her advice and encouragement on all things financial, Heather Bokros for her willingness to help. Thanks to Wendy Janvier for taking the helm of the boosters and keeping us going and to Reba Aarnos for her amazing organization and dedication to getting the word out! To Gary and the orchestra kids who make our show sound so much more beautiful. To Amy for getting the most out of all the kids vocally and teaching many of our beginners that they truly are singers!
