Michael Rolfe

Michael is a queer improviser, writer and actor in Calgary and was most recently seen in The Tempest with The Shakespeare Company and was the co-writer and creator of Between Us with Handsome Alice Theatre. Jesselle Laurén
as Bob
Jesselle Laurén is a queer nonbinary performer born and raised in Calgary, AB. Pre-pandemic they could be found playing with Dirty Laundry YYC and pursuing certifications with Fight Directors Canada in stage combat. Most recently seen in shows with Sage Theatre's Ignite Festival and Alberta's Queer Calendar Project, they are absolutely delighted to continue their 2020 trend of working on theatre that centers queer voices. Jesselle would like to thank the whole Christmas Carol: A Drag Story team for bringing them along for the ride.

Emily Howard
as Fred
Emily Howard (she/her) is a Calgary based artist, and is thrilled to be working with Blue Jeans Theatre on Christmas Carol: A Drag Story. After graduating from the University of Alberta's BFA Acting Program, she studied Neo Bouffon at the Manitoulin Conservatory for Performance and Creation (The Clown Farm), as well as two summers on Prince's Island Park performing in Shakespeare by the Bow. She has also been involved in many different festivals in Alberta including NextFest, The Edmonton Fringe, The Edmonton Clown Festival, and Nuit Blanche. She can't wait to spread Christmas (Queer) Cheer!
