The story of Dracula is, to this day, incredibly relevant in today’s collective consciousness. From the black and white movie “Nosferatu”, to Gary Oldman’s awful wig, to the Transylvanian accent every suburban dad attempts on Halloween...the tale is timeless.
If the cast and I could achieve anything with this play, it would be to rekindle even an ounce of the horror that Stoker created in his original work. In this version, adapted by William McNulty, nothing strays from the original. All of the familiar names and characters are there, with just a bit of tweaking to make some of the dialogue more understandable for today’s audiences.
Sit back and enjoy one of the most iconic horror stories ever written in William McNulty’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic, Dracula.
