Alex Willert

Producer

Alex just can’t seem to stay away from the stage. He performed with Stagelight Productions for over a decade, helped found UCB and performed with Disney for over 8 years. His Brea training prepared him well for a life of performing and led to many opportunities (TV, Rose Parades, a year in Japan). Alex has a degree in Mus Ed from Chapman U. and studied at CSUF and UC Berkeley. He is very excited to begin his producing career with these wonderful students in this hilarious show!
Doug Kuhl

Director/Choreographer

Doug Kuhl not only choreographs all of the shows for BOHS Choir, but also is a distant cousin of Victor von Frankenstein and lived in Transylvania for many years. He worked nearly 10 years at Transylvania Amusement Land in the Entertainment Division where the motto was “People have fun, or else!” Doug considers "Young Frankenstein" a humorless drama. All work and no play makes Doug a dull boy…
Kurt Nielsen

Stage Director

After seeing the original cast on Broadway, Kurt Nielsen says, “Directing 'Young Frankenstein' is a nightmare come true!” Directorial credits include: "Beauty & The Beast", "Grease", "High School Musical", "Thoroughly Modern Millie", "Crazy For You", "The Wizard of Oz", "Aladdin". Kurt finally gets to direct a show about two of his favorite loves: musical theater & horror movies!
Eric Hendrickson

Music Director

Eric Hendrickson has worked for five years as the accompanist for the United Choirs of Brea and is excited to be a part of “Young Frankenstein.” He has a degree in Music Composition from California State University of Fullerton and has previously worked as a worship pastor and choir director at several churches. He thanks his family for their support.
Kaylee Dysart

Assistant Director

Kaylee was so excited to hear that this spooktacular musical was coming to BOHS. She has been a part of many productions herself and is currently at the Disneyland Resort where she performs in parades and shows throughout the resort, and travels internationally with the company for special events. Kaylee is so excited to help make this hilarious cinematic classic come to life with these students!
