    Trina has spent many hours in the theater with professional, school, and community theater groups. She has played roles including Kate Keller in The Miracle Worker, Norma in Visitor from Forest Hill, The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet and Flora in Tennessee Williams’ 27 Wagons Full of Cotton, which garnered her title of Best Actress at the West Virginia State International Thespian Festival in 1997. As a director, her productions with Bridgeport High School Thespian Troupe #7549, The Lovers of VeronaMedeaBury the Dead, and Star-Crossed Lovers, all won first place regional titles and advanced to state-level competitions where they were honored as the state’s Outstanding One Act. Trina is currently a member of The Rustic Mechanicals and The Vintage Theatre Company LLC professional Shakespeare troupe and is the director of the VTC Academy youth troupe.

    Jennifer Hess is a 1993 graduate of Bridgeport High School. This is her sixteenth year as an elementary teacher in Harrison County. This is her second year as the program’s play sponsor, but she has been involved with BHS Theatre as a parent volunteer since 2015. Jennifer has truly enjoyed being part of this production and is very appreciative of all the team work involved tomake it happen. Break legs, theatre family!

    Mrs. Kinsey was the dance teacher at Bridgeport High School for ten years where she was also the director of the Dance Ensemble.  Mrs. Kinsey started dancing as a child and her intense training came during her college years. Mrs. Kinseygraduated from Marshall University with a dance minor and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. After completing her undergraduate degree Mrs. Kinsey also earned her master’s degree in counseling from Marshall University. She was a dancer at two local studios in Huntington, Art Center School of Ballet and Elite Performance Academy.  She was also a dancer for Huntington’s Outdoor Theatre for three years. Mrs. Kinsey and her husband, Jamie, have two children, Eliza and James (Bubba) Kinsey.  Mrs. Kinsey is happy to continue to share her dance knowledge and help other students learn about dance.
