Directing any production is a huge undertaking, but directing one in the middle of a pandemic AND a capital project is another thing all together.  We started this journey virtually.  First with virtual auditions, and then virtual rehearsals.  Getting to know each other from a computer screen was not easy, but we did it!  Once we moved to in person rehearsals things really started to take shape.  To be in a room with eager, excited students all working toward a common goal has been so rewarding.  If there is one thing the pause has taught us, is to be grateful for what we have.  I am so grateful for an administration that is behind me every step of the way.  I am grateful for parents who donate their time and share their talents to help make our Elementary Drama Program something special, but mostly I am grateful for the students.  Their love for drama and performing makes all of the challenges worthwhile.

In many ways this year has introduced us to a¨Whole New World¨-a world filled with struggles and challenges but also one full of wonder, excitement, and joy.  Many thanks to those of you who have had a hand in making this production possible. I am so grateful for you all.
