Aaric Montenaro has been involved in the Broadalbin-Perth Drama Club for three years. He played Cowboy Bob/Bickle in Footloose his sophomore year. The following summer he played Ernst in Spring Awakening through CR Kids theatre program in Saratoga. Aaric portrayed the role of Babkak in Aladdin his junior year. Aaric is making the most of his senior year by being cast as Cameron, helping out stage crew, and choreographing this year! Aaric plans on pursuing criminal justice or English education. This program has been a fantastic journey; nothing could ever compare to this experience. He’d like to thank Mr.Ott, Mrs.Swatt, and Mrs.Tambasco for an incredible three years. He couldn’t have found the love he has for the stage without these three.
Carley Nolan began performing at the age of 9 and has been in 11 productions since. This year she is ecstatic to play the role of Campbell Davis, help create the proscenium, and serve as the club’s president. Some of her past roles include Annie in 2010, Teen Fiona in Shrek: the Musical (2015), and Ariel in Footloose(2016). Carley plans to major in adolescent education and minor in theatre. Carley would like to thank her family for their support, as well as Mrs. Spraker, Mr. Rich, Mr. Ott, Mrs. Swatt, and Mrs. Tambasco for all the opportunities they’ve given her over the years. She also wants to wish her castmates good luck in the future and thank them for bringing this show to life.
Ava Priamo has been in the drama program for three years. She has been able to have many opportunities throughout the years. She helped work on burger blast in Footloose, design The Palace in Aladdin, and now for her senior year, she is the Stage Manager. Ava would like to thank Mrs. Swatt, Mr. Ott, and Mrs. Tambasco for all the opportunities they have given to her over the past three years.
Luciano Smullen has been participating in the Broadalbin-Perth Drama Program since his Freshman Year. Luciano was Papa Bear, and Chuck Cranston in the productions of “Shrek The Musical” and “Footloose the Musical” and has done spotlights for his Junior and Senior year. Luciano is planning on attending the College of Saint Rose for History in Education. Luciano would like to thank his family, friends, Mr. Ott, Mrs. Swatt, and Mrs. Tambasco for their support and guidance, and the opportunities. Luciano would like to grant special thanks to Jacob “The Captain” Holland for his ethic and guidance in the light crew.
Teresa Spucches has been an avid member of the drama program for four years. She played a multitude of parts, like Elenor in Footloose and Captain Hook in Shrek. A lover of the arts, she took on any challenge with a unique perspective and was always willing to help out.
Joey Tesiero started his drama career in 7th grade at St. Mary’s Institute. There he participated in Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz. After coming to BP, he joined the Drama Club his freshman year and acted in the ensemble for Shrek: the Musical(2015). He started working in the sound and lights department when he was a sophomore. This year he is the lead sound technician after working on Footloose(2016) and Aladdin(2017). Joey would like to thank Mr. Ott, Mrs. Swatt, Mrs. Tambasco, his family, and Eddie Caughey for teaching him everything about the soundboard.
Matthew Uhlinger has enjoyed being a member of Drama Club for the past three years. He played Travis in Footloose and was a Prince last year. He's excited to finish his senior year on stage again. He loves to sing and dance and is very thankful for all the new friends he has made.
Mary Zarecki has been a part of the drama program for three years. During these years she helped with Burger Blast during Footloose, helped with the Palace during Aladdin, and for this year's production, she worked on the Camp/Cliff scene. This program has helped her create so many memories and long-lasting friendships that she won't forget. She would like to thank Mrs. Swatt, Mr. Ott, and Mrs. Tambasco for everything they have done for her over the past three years and always encouraging us to be our best at what we do.
