    as Director and Choreographer

    JOEL FERRELL is a seasoned director, choreographer, educator, and consultant based in Dallas, Texas. He is thrilled to be directing Broadway Dallas HSMTA for his third year. Celebrating young artists and facilitating their growth and education has been a passion for his entire, 40 year professional career.

    Mr. Ferrell has directed and choreographed extensively around the country for Dallas Theater Center, Denver Center Theater, Portland Center Stage, North Shore Music Theater, and many more. Mr. Ferrell is the former Associate Artistic Director of Dallas Theater Center (2011-2019) and Artistic Director of Casa Manana Musicals (Fort Worth, TX; 1996 to 2001). 

    He has served as adjunct theater faculty for SMU, TWU, UNT, UT Arlington, as well as teaching regularly for Booker T. Washington High School.

    Ferrell is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a proud member of Society of Directors and Choreographers and Actor’s Equity Association.

    Clinton Greenspan's tour credits include Aladdin, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Some additional credits include Romeo & Juliet and Dreamgirls (Dallas Theater Center) and Fiddler...Roof (Casa Manana). NYMF (2014).

    Denise Lee is an award winning actress and singer whose powerful voice, warm and friendly demeanor and her brassy performance style has charmed theater, nightclub and television audiences for more than three decades.

    She is the founder and Executive Producer of the Denise Lee Onstage Cabaret Series and the Dallas Cabaret Festival. She just recently brought her show ‘Pressure Makes Diamonds’ home to Circle Theater.

    In addition to her career as an Artist, Denise Lee is a fierce Social Justice activist. She established 'Community Conversation' through her non-profit organization Visions For Change. She also serves as the Social Justice Strategist for the Dallas Children’s Theater and is Board President for the Dallas Street Choir.
