Camila Blikstad (Assistant Director) Camila is a senior at Bronxville High School and is extremely excited to present Almost, Maine which has been one of the most fun plays of her high school career. She has been the assistant director since freshman year, and the musicals and the plays are always considered the best part of her year. Throughout her time at Bronxville, she has been a part of eight productions, some of her favorites have been Les Miserables, 9 to 5, and All My Sons. Camila would like to thank Mr. Cross, Catie, Maddie, Finn, and the cast and crew of Almost, Maine for making the show extremely fun and memorable.
Catie Burnell (Assistant Director) - Catie is a senior at Bronxville and is thrilled to be part of the production. Catie has performed in over 40 musicals, with some of her favorite roles including “Heather” in American Idiot and “Mom” in Hair. Catie has studied musical theater at Concordia Conservatory, where she is an honors vocal music student, Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory, the Play Group Theatre, and Westchester Sandbox Theatre. Off-stage, Catie is the founder and president of the Arts Society, a club dedicated to promoting the performing and visual arts in Bronxville High School. Catie would like to thank Mr. Cross, Camila, and the cast and crew of “Almost, Maine” for making the production experience truly amazing!
Madeline Hanley (Stage Manager) Madeline is a stage manager first and a senior at Bronxville High School second. She has been a part of the cast, crew, and pit at Bronxville. During her high school career, she has been a part of the crew for 11 school shows and has been into the catwalks over 10 times. Some of her favorite roles have been “Horn 2” in Les Miserables and “Shift Coordinator” in 9 to 5. Last June, she won the school’s Robert Jackson Technical Theater Award. Madeline would like to thank Mr. Ashley, Rebecca Rouse, Camila Blikstad, Tia the Turtle, all of Bronxville’s past tech directors and stage managers, as well as whoever’s decision it was to purchase all LED lights.
Finn Seibold (Stage Manager) Finn is a member of the junior class and thrilled to be a part of Almost, Maine, his first ever play. He has, however, been the stage manager of three musicals including 9 to 5, The Addams Family and Fiddler on the Roof. While his favorite of those remains a closely guarded secret, working on his first ever play at the Bronxville has been a truly rewarding experience. Thanks to Camila, Brian, Ben, Aiden, Maddie, the crew, our past tech directors, as well as all of the cast and volunteers who have made the shows such a memorable experience.
Rebecca Rouse (Set and Lighting Designer / Tech Director) Rebecca Rouse is an American Theatrical Director, Playwright, and Designer. She studied Theatre and Anthropology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is currently living and working in New York City, New York. She is an MFA candidate at Sarah Lawrence College.
Rob Cross (Director) - Rob goes by ‘Mr. Cross’ with his students, ‘Robert!’ when he’s in trouble, and simply ‘Daddy’ to his family. He is a graduate of Princeton University, Hunter College, and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. A proud member of Actors Equity, he has performed widely in both straight plays and musicals with Artspower National Touring Theater, Lincoln Center Directors’ Lab, and Brave New World Rep, among others. Almost, Maine marks his Bronxville directorial debut, and he couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and dedicated cast and crew. His proudest production, however, is the family he has built with his wife, Candice, and his two sons, Beckett and Eliot.
