Jessica Bostock
Director
Jessica is an award-winning choreographer who has taught and choreographed many styles of classical and contemporary dance for over two decades. Jessica danced professionally with Bina Kachine, Dance! and was the owner and artistic director of In Motion Dance Company. She has choreographed and directed numerous shows for high school, college, and professional theatre productions, at such places as Bucks County Playhouse, Steel River Playhouse, LaSalle University, and T4Y Playmakers. She is currently on the faculty of Bryn Athyn College as both an assistant professor of dance and theatre and the head of the performing arts program. Jessica is the Artistic Director of inFlux Dance Company. Upcoming projects include directing and choreographing Seussical at Bucks County Playhouse and choreographing Rent at The Resident Theatre Company. Jessica has a BA in Education, an MA in Theatre Arts. She is thrilled to be presenting The 39 Steps this amazing group of artists.
Sonja Kistner
Assistant Director/Stage Manager
Sonja Kistner is a sophomore at Bryn Athyn college studying religion and theater tech. She has been involved in local theater for the past 4 years, opting to stay behind the curtain for the most part. She has tried her hand at set design and construction, producing, stage crew, costumes, and even being a board member for Bryn Athyn Community Theater. Her favorite jobs so far include stage managing and directing, so she is absolutely ecstatic to be able to do both for this show. Many thanks to the cast, crew, and production team for making all the shows here at Bryn Athyn College a joy and a privilege to be a part of. And an extra special thanks to Jessica for taking Sonja under her wing and encouraging her love of everything theater.
