o me! o life! - August 05

Burlington County Footlighters

 WHO'S WHO

Delaney Adair (Cottagecore in Pink) is a senior at Burlington City High School and this is her second year with the Intern Co.  She has performed in school productions, at Maple Shade Arts Council, and at Burlington County Footlighters.  Delaney would like to thank her friends for making the quarantine so much more entertaining.

Joshua Barnes Santiago (Sound; Lucas) is back again for his 4th year with Burlington County Footlighters’ Intern Co.  He’s making his debut as an Intern Co. actor with his role of Lucas.  Josh has just graduated from Camden Catholic High School and is continuing his education at Clemson University in the fall.  Josh enjoys dangerous stunts and pyrotechnics.  His previous roles include Gaston (Beauty and the Beast Jr.) and Cinderella’s Prince (Into the Woods Jr.).

Kai Barnes (Lucas) is a senior Music Education Major at Westminster Choir College.  This production will be Kai’s third with the Intern Co., his prior shows being Year 14’s Failure: A Love Story and Year 16’s Fight Girl Battle World.  He was also given the honor of being this year’s dramaturg, a brand new and eye-opening experience for him, and he is very thankful for the opportunity.

Brendan Collins (Cameron) is excited to perform “o me! o life!” with the Intern Co. at Burlington County Footlighters!  A rising senior at Rancocas Valley Regional High School, this will be Brendan’s third year working with the Interns, previously seen in Argonautika (Meleager) and Fight Girl Battle World (Lighting and Set Crew).  His pastimes include reading, binging TV shows and, of course, theatre.  He would like to thank his fellow Interns for being able to put this amazing show together during the quarantine.

Shyanna Depew (Bank Teller) is in her first year with the Intern Co.  Her most recent credit is from Cinnaminson High School’s Laugh Out Loud! (Cry Quietly).  She hopes you like watching her be threatened with a gun as the Bank Teller.

Andrew Donachie (Cinematographer) is a rising Junior Communications and Digital Media Major.  This is his fifth show with the Intern Co. most recent roles being Idmon (Argonautika) and Micheal Banks (Mary Poppins).  Thank you to the entire Intern Co. for putting together one of the most interesting and creative shows he’s ever been a part of.  Huge thanks to his parents for always supporting his theater career.

Shaina Egan (Noelle) is pleased to be a part of “o me! o life!” as her final performance in Intern Co. as she ages out this year. She was most recently seen as Faith (Couples), Mrs. Walker (The Who’s “Tommy”) and Medium Alison (Fun Home). Besides performing on stage (and now online), Shaina serves as the Secretary for the Maple Shade Arts Council and teaches youth theatre education at various schools and organizations in the area. Shaina can be seen next at BCF’s outdoor cabaret on August 15th. Shaina would like to give a shout out to the production staff volunteers for leading the Intern Co. in this difficult time, the interns for kicking butt and still creating this piece of art during a pandemic, and everyone who is supporting us by watching. Thank you for keeping the arts alive!

Allison Ewing (Jo) is enjoying her first year in Intern Co. but she has previously done three Footlighters Jr. shows.  She is a rising Junior at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy and participated in her first show there at 4 years old.  Some of her previous roles have been: Logainne (Schwartzy) in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Medda Larkin in Newsies, and Mrs. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie.  She wants to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to join Intern Co. and for always supporting her!
