James Hammer
Technical Director
Since 2011, Mr. Hammer and his technical crews have been creating the magical worlds in which our talented actors here at Byron Nelson tell their character’s stories. What fun it’s been! He’d like to thank his wife, Christy, for her support through twenty-one years of teaching high school theatre.

Emma Horn
Assistant Technical Director
Emma is a graduate of the class of 2017 and is extremely grateful to be back at BNHS. Emma was the stage manager and sound designer during her high school years. Guys and Dolls will be her 40th show here at Byron Nelson and is excited to excel in technical direction. Emma was the recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Sound Design Betty Buckley award and was nominated for Best Crew and Technical Execution for DSM High School musical awards for the BNHS production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. Emma received her bachlors in 2021 from UNT with a minor in theater concentrating in stage management. Emma is very grateful to Wendy and James for the opportunity to pay it forward to the next generation of thespians.

Ella Glueck
Stage Manager
Ella is a sophomore this year and is participating in her second musical at Byron Nelson. She has been an assistant stage manager previously for the productions of Frankenstein and Elf Jr. and is excited to be the stage manager for this production. The cast, crew and directors have made these performances a blast for her and she can’t wait to continue working with these amazing people.

Abby Fitzgerald
Assistant Stage Managers
Abby is a junior and is in her 3rd year at Byron Nelson Theatre. This year she has decided to take a turn as a stage manager. She has been in sound for the past two years and is exhilarated to change it up with stage managing. She is very excited to do a show with the amazing cast and crew.
